Dysart & Schilling Named LSBA Young Lawyers Division 2023 TOP 40 Awardees

Partners Danny Dysart and Blair Schilling recently were named recipients of the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division 2023 TOP 40 award. The recognition honors the top young lawyers statewide for their exceptional contributions to both the legal profession and their community. Awards will be presented at the 2024 Louisiana Young Lawyers Conference on April 12, 2024. For the full list of honorees, check out the LSBA’s April/May 2024 issue of the Louisiana Bar Journal here.

Dysart represents clients in a wide range of mass tort, environmental, and other complex civil litigation matters. He also serves as an Assistant District Attorney in St. Bernard Parish in the 34th Judicial District Court. Dysart is the current chair of the St. Bernard Bar Association. He also serves as president of the St. Bernard Autism Awareness Krewe, an organization through which he has developed a wide array of resources and programs to assist individuals and families dealing with the daily struggles associated with autism spectrum disorder. Schilling represents clients in matters involving coastal land loss and restoration, land and groundwater contamination, land use, clean water, getting brownfield sites safely back into commerce, expropriation, and regulatory and permitting issues in federal and state court. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the ABA Young Lawyers Division’s Environment, Energy & Resources Committee, and she also is a member of the ABA Disaster Legal Services Team. Schilling also volunteers with a wide range of organizations, including as General Counsel for the Young Leadership Council.
