Fishman Haygood Bankruptcy Team Represents Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in Crosby Tugs and Crosby Dredging Chapter 11 Cases

On March 23, 2026, Crosby Enterprises LLC announced that four of its subsidiaries, Crosby Tugs LLC, Crosby Dredging LLC, Crosby Marine Transportation LLC, and Bertucci Contracting Company, LLC (collectively, the “Debtors”), filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana (Lead Case No. 26-10678).

Fishman Haygood’s Bankruptcy team was selected as co-counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors with Seward & Kissel LLP in the cases of Crosby Tugs, LLC and Crosby Dredging, LLC. The firm’s team is led by Tristan Manthey, Cherie Nobles, and Joseph Caneco, who will provide legal counsel to the Committee with the goal of maximizing recoveries for unsecured creditors. The case is pending before the Honorable Meredith S. Grabill.

The filings are intended to restructure the Debtors’ secured debt while maintaining ongoing operations, including their tug and dredging services. As part of the chapter 11 proceedings, the Debtors have filed customary “first day” motions seeking court approval to continue ordinary course operations, including payment of employee wages and benefits and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers. The Debtors have also secured additional financing to support ongoing operations and provide liquidity during the restructuring process.

Fishman Haygood’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring team has substantial experience representing official committees and other stakeholders in complex Chapter 11 cases. The team’s experience includes debtor- and creditor-side engagements, debtor-in-possession and exit financing, distressed M&A, and bankruptcy litigation.
