Tristan Manthey is a partner in our Litigation Section and specializes in bankruptcy.

His concentration is in Chapter 11 reorganizations, business work-outs, debt structure negotiations, insolvency litigation, corporate bankruptcy and creditor’s rights since 1998. He is experienced in complex financial and legal matters involving private equity and hedge funds, utilities and rate disputes, gaming companies, public television broadcast companies, real estate ventures, hotels, casinos, quick service fast food franchisees, retailers, and environmental and/or mass tort issues.

  • Bankruptcy counsel to the official committee of unsecured creditors in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case of Alfred Miller Contracting Company, a nationwide contractor (Western District of Louisiana).
  • Bankruptcy counsel to a law firm that is a member of the Plaintiff Steering Committee and represents approximately 15,000 claimants in the pending multi district 3M Combat Arms Earplug Products liability litigation that is at the center of the bankruptcy cases filed by Aearo Technologies LLC and six (6) affiliated debtors (collectively, the “Debtors”).  The bankruptcy cases are pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana (Indianapolis Division).
  • Bankruptcy counsel to the Chapter 11 Trustee, Dwayne Murray, appointed in the Westbank Holdings, LLC, and related matters (Eastern District of Louisiana).
