Schilling Selected for Loyola’s Women’s Leadership Academy; Program Educates, Empowers, & Elevates Female Leaders

Fishman Haygood partner Blair Schilling was recently chosen to participate in the fifth cohort of the Women’s Leadership Academy presented by Loyola University New Orleans. Launched in 2019, this is the only program of its kind hosted at a university in the state. The academy’s mission is to educate, empower, and elevate leaders across Southeast Louisiana. Read more about the program here.

The cohort is comprised of 45 recognized leaders within their organizations who exhibit high growth potential for advancement into more senior positions. Those women chosen by the selection committee are individuals most likely to utilize these leadership abilities for the long-term benefit of our community. Schilling’s acceptance is a particularly noteworthy recognition given that she is a Loyola Law alumna.

The Women’s Leadership Academy curriculum focuses on increasing the representation of women in leadership positions by helping them identify and develop their individual strengths. The cohort meets monthly for 11 months, with the opening session set for Mar. 30, 2023.

Schilling represents clients in a wide range of commercial matters, with a concentration in environmental law. Click here to learn more about her practice.
