Schilling Adds to 2024 Lawdragon Honors with “500 X – The Next Generation” Recognition

Partner Blair Schilling was recently selected to the 2024 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation (LDX500) list for Commercial Litigation, especially Environmental. Those recognized are chosen for “the talent, the vision, and the hope” they bring to the profession. This is the second annual edition of the guide, which—for the first time—features lawyers from both the United States and around the world. Click here to read the announcement.

Lawdragon bases its selections on journalistic reporting and nominations. For LDX500, the publication considers lawyers who have proven themselves early in private practice, accruing credentials, deals, and cases early and often—the future leaders of the law.

This is the second time this year that Schilling has been recognized by Lawdragon. In addition to X – The Next Generation, she was included in the Green 500: Leaders in Environmental Law guide.

Schilling’s environmental practice includes matter involving coastal restoration, land contamination, land use, clean water, getting brownfield sites safely back into commerce, regulatory and permitting, and expropriation issues. In doing this work, she represents state government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private companies and individuals, including the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF), the Environmental Defense Fund, the National Wildlife Federation, Restore the Mississippi River Delta, and many private landowners. The goal of her environmental practice is to make Louisiana more resilient and encourage future sustainable economic growth in the region. Read more about Schilling’s practice here.
