Nobles to Co-Chair “Bird’s Eye View: Bankruptcy from Trustees’ Perspectives” LSBA Seminar

Cherie Nobles, special counsel in Fishman Haygood’s Litigation Section, will co-chair “Bird’s Eye View: Bankruptcy from Trustees’ Perspectives” hosted by the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) on Apr. 21, 2023. The seminar will provide attendees with an understanding of bankruptcy from the perspectives of Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 13, Subchapter 5, post-confirmation, and the Office of the United States trustees. The full-day seminar includes discussions on asset sales, recent developments in SBRA case law, pitfalls to avoid in preparing post-confirmation trust agreements, and more. Among the distinguished speakers are the Honorable Michael A. Crawford, who took the bench of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in October 2022, and seasoned trustees Dwayne Murray of Baton Rouge (Murray & Murray, L.L.C.) and Michael Warner of Houston (Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP).

Nobles serves as the committee chair for the bankruptcy section of the New Orleans Bar Association. She is a regular speaker on bankruptcy topics, most recently as a panelist on “Hot Topics in Chapter 11: Confidentiality & Privilege, Third-Party Injunctions and Releases, and UST Fee Litigation” at LSU’s 28th Annual Bankruptcy Law Conference.
