Montgomery Volunteers for Transactional Boot Camp at Tulane University Law School, Her Alma Mater

On January 10, 2024, Fishman Haygood business associate Meghan Montgomery served as an instructor for Tulane University Law School’s Transactional Boot Camp. The week-long program is designed as an intensive skills training “boot camp” experience, offering second- and third-year law students the opportunity to learn invaluable skills that will prepare them for practice in their legal careers. The course consists of a series of counseling, negotiation, due diligence, and drafting exercises centered around a basic corporate transaction, such as an asset purchase. Instructors are comprised of practitioners from both the local legal community and from around the country. Montgomery, whose practice primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitionsprivate equity, corporate finance, and general corporate matters, counseled students on a mock asset transaction.
