Maggie Daly Selected to Join Federal Bar Association – New Orleans Chapter’s Younger Lawyers Division Board

Fishman Haygood Associate Maggie Daly has been selected to join the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association’s Younger Lawyers Division 2026–2027 Board of Directors. In her new role, which includes service on the YLD’s Law School and Social Committees, Maggie will contribute to the Chapter’s mission to improve the professional lives of members of the bench and bar. The board will be sworn in at the organization’s annual meeting on August 17, 2026.

The New Orleans Chapter is the largest in the national organization, serving over 1,200 members. The Younger Lawyers Division spearheads events like Cocktails with the Court, a semi-annual event bringing together judges and practitioners in a more relaxed setting, and Morning at the Federal Courthouse, a program for law students to experience the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Maggie works on a wide range of litigation matters in both state and federal courts. She is already gaining invaluable experience as a young attorney, including as part of the Fishman Haygood team representing Alysson Mills, in her capacity as Receiver for Arthur Lamar Adams and Madison Timber Properties, LLC, in cases regarding what is referred to as the largest Ponzi scheme in Mississippi history. The Receiver’s claims against a law firm were recently the subject of a five-week federal trial beginning in April 2026, during which Maggie examined fact and expert witnesses. She also assisted the team with all trial phases, including preparing examinations, exhibits, demonstratives, and witnesses, as well as trial motion practice.

Prior to joining Fishman Haygood, Maggie clerked for the Honorable Carl J. Barbier of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana from 2022 to 2024.

Maggie’s selection for the Younger Lawyers Division Board is a testament not only to her commitment to the bench and bar but also to the reputation she’s earning among the next generation of litigators.
