Lori Mince Only Louisiana Attorney Recognized in Lawdragon’s Inaugural “500 Leading Global Tax Lawyers” Guide

Partner Lori Mince has been selected to Lawdragon’s 2025 “500 Leading Global Tax Lawyers” list for Tax Litigation. This year marks the guide’s inaugural release, and—as described by Lawdragon—includes attorneys who “preserve the balance between tax responsibilities and fiscal soundness on a global scale.” Attorneys are selected based on journalistic research, submissions, and vetting. Lori has recently represented or currently represents the Louisiana Department of Revenue in several transfer pricing cases against Conoco Philips, General Mills, W.W. Grainger, Inc., Monsanto Company, Rent-A-Center, Inc., and Home Depot USA, Inc. Further, she has represented the Department of Revenue in dozens of additional cases involving important legal issues in the area of state tax law, including the proper calculation of interest expense, the taxation of capital gains from the sale of businesses operating in Louisiana, the taxation of revenues from the sale of greenhouse gas credits, the tax treatment of tobacco settlement reserves, and the sales tax liability of internet travel companies for the sale of hotel room stays.
