Litigation Team Travels to Netherlands for International Arbitration

This past May, the Fishman Haygood team represented Akgun Insaat Makina Sanayii ve Dis Ticaret Ltd. Sti., a Turkish construction company, at the Hague, the administrative and royal capital of the Netherlands. The respondent in the matter is the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

While case details are confidential, the matter came to arbitration under the rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law. Click here for more on the Permanent Court of Arbitration’s website.

A decision in the matter is expected in six to nine months.
