Fishman Haygood Welcomes Two New Attorneys to Litigation Section

Fishman Haygood LLP is pleased to welcome Madeline Flores and Gabe Winsberg as special counsel in the firm’s Litigation Section.
Madeline joins the firm as part of our expanded Energy Regulation and Utilities Practice and focuses her practice on public utilities regulation, energy matters, and general business litigation. Her work includes advising clients like the Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC) on utility ratemaking and rate design, regulatory approvals for major infrastructure projects, utility transactions and financing, and the development and implementation of energy policy at the state and federal levels.
Madeline received her J.D., magna cum laude, and Civil Law Certificate from Tulane University Law School, where she graduated Order of the Coif. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Barry W. Ashe of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
In his new role at Fishman Haygood, Gabe will focus his practice on commercial litigation matters, including complex bankruptcy. He has experience across all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, motion practice, fact and expert witness depositions, and trial preparation.
Gabe has been recognized since 2022 among the Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch. He is involved in numerous community and professional organizations, including the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association – New Orleans Chapter, the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), and the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and was a junior member of the Louisiana State Law Institute.
Prior to joining Fishman Haygood, Gabe was an associate at Irwin Fritchie Urquhart & Moore LLC, where his practice focused on mass-tort litigation. He holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Tulane University Law School where he graduated Order of the Coif and was a Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review. He received a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
