Fishman Haygood Represents Aventia in Acquisition of ECM Consultants

Fishman Haygood LLP represented Aventia, a portfolio company of longtime client Bernhard Capital Partners (BCP), in its acquisition of ECM Consultants, a Louisiana-based engineering, architectural, and construction management firm specializing in infrastructure and resilience projects across the Gulf South. The acquisition strengthens Aventia’s environmental and engineering capabilities and expands the platform’s presence across the region.

Established by Baton Rouge-based BCP in 2022, Aventia is a national environmental services platform providing consulting, field services, and technology-driven solutions to public and private sector clients in more than 40 states. The ECM acquisition marks Aventia’s sixth transaction since 2022.

Founded in 1995, ECM has completed more than 1,700 projects across the Gulf South, with expertise in coastal and mitigation engineering, transportation, drainage infrastructure, flood risk reduction, and coastal resilience. The company maintains offices throughout Louisiana and serves federal, state, and local agencies, utilities, and private-sector clients.
