Fishman Haygood Partners Named to Lawdragon’s 2027 “500 Leading Litigators in America”

Fishman Haygood congratulates Partners Brent Barriere, Lori Mince, and Jim Swanson, who were recently selected to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America list for 2027. The guide honors lawyers who “excel at the art of advocacy before juries, judges and other decision makers on behalf of their clients.” Honorees, chosen from among a record-breaking number of submissions, were selected based on independent research, peer discussions, and nominations. Brent has been recognized as a leading litigator since 2023, and Lori and Jim have made the annual guide since 2024. This marks the fourth consecutive year that this particular group of attorneys has been honored.

Brent, honored for Commercial Litigation, including Bankruptcy and Fraud, brings more than 40 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation disputes. His practice includes bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, securities litigation, breach of contract matters, fiduciary and valuation disputes, director and officer claims, errors and omissions matters, class actions, and a national practice representing trustees and receivers.

Lori, recognized for Financial Litigation, Class Actions, and Media, focuses on commercial litigation, media law, and tax litigation. She handles complex disputes ranging from class actions and executive employment matters to defamation, public records access, and intellectual property issues. Lori is also a certified American Arbitration Association® arbitrator.

Jim, recognized for Complex Litigation and Class Actions, has particular experience in securities litigation, domestic and international arbitration, environmental litigation, and general commercial matters. His work is reflected in more than 100 reported decisions.
