Fishman Haygood Obtains $1.1 Million FINRA Award

Fishman Haygood partners Lance McCardle and Jason Burge, with assistance from special counsel Lara Richards, obtained a $1.1 million FINRA award for Claimant Patrick Ridgeway, a UBS Financial Securities investor who was sold unsuitable investments in an over-leveraged managed account. The claimant asserted that UBS mismanaged his account for more than five years, citing breach of fiduciary duty, misrepresentation and nondisclosure, negligence and gross negligence, breach of contracts and warranties, violation of Mississippi Securities Act, failure to supervise, and control person liability in the complaint.
