Firm Moves Into New Baton Rouge Office in IBM Building
July 27, 2015
Fishman Haygood has a new office location in downtown Baton Rouge.
The firm moved into the 8th floor of the new IBM Building, located on the corner of Lafayette and North streets, in late July. The nine-story building houses IBM’s state-of-the-art technology center, which can accommodate upwards of 800 employees, as well as rental office space.
The IBM Building is a public-private partnership development project involving the state of Louisiana and Commercial Properties Realty Trust, the real estate arm of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.
Fishman Haygood expanded into Baton Rouge in January 2015 with the addition of partners Charles Landry, Louis Quinn, and Scott Chenevert. The trio came to the firm from Jones Walker, bringing a wealth of experience in real estate development, corporate and securities law.
The firm’s move into Baton Rouge was in response to city’s economic growth as a center for business and enterprise over the last five years.
