February 11, 2026
Fishman Haygood Partner Blair Schilling has been selected to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Environmental Lawyers – The Green 500, a national guide recognizing top attorneys working at the forefront of environmental litigation, sustainability, and environmental justice. Blair is one of only five Louisiana attorneys named to this year’s list, an honor that reflects her growing influence and leadership in the environmental law space.
Blair represents clients in complex environmental and commercial matters in federal and state courts. Her practice focuses on coastal erosion and restoration, land and groundwater contamination, clean water issues, asset retirement obligations, brownfield redevelopment, regulatory and permitting matters, and expropriation. She represents state agencies, nonprofit organizations, private companies, and landowners, including the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and leading environmental advocacy groups, with a shared goal of strengthening Louisiana’s environmental resilience while supporting sustainable economic growth. Blair is widely known for her ability to master highly technical cases and strategically guide them toward meaningful, long-term solutions.
Lawdragon’s Green 500 celebrates lawyers who “fight every day for sustainable practices, remediation from harm, and environmental justice,” honoring advocates who represent communities, nonprofits, and businesses alike. Selections are based on journalistic research, peer nominations, and evaluation by experienced environmental law professionals. The recognition marks Blair’s fourth appearance in Lawdragon’s Green 500 guide, underscoring her continued impact as a rising leader in environmental litigation.
