Blair Schilling Named to Leadership in Law Class for Third Consecutive Year, Attains Hall of Fame Status

Fishman Haygood partner Blair Schilling was recently selected to the 2025 Leadership in Law class by New Orleans CityBusiness. The group is comprised of 55 area professionals who are recognized in the legal field for their career and community achievements. Because this marks Blair’s third time receiving the honor, she will be inducted into the Leadership in Law Hall of Fame. Read the full announcement here.
Blair’s practice focuses on environmental matters involving coastal restoration, land contamination, land use, clean water, getting brownfield sites safely back into commerce, regulatory and permitting, and expropriation issues. She frequently represents government agencies and non-profit organizations, including the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Environmental Defense Fund, and private landowners. In addition to her environmental work, Blair is committed to advancing female representation in the legal field and in her community. She completed the Loyola University New Orleans Women’s Leadership Academy, a program dedicated to increasing the number of women in leadership roles by educating, empowering, and elevating its cohorts. Honorees will be celebrated at an in-person event at the New Orleans Museum of Art later this fall. A publication featuring honoree profiles will also be included in the October 17 issue of CityBusiness.
