Steve Herman to Present Back-to-Back CLEs at New Orleans Bar Association Procrastinators’ Programs(sm)

On December 29 and 30, 2025, Fishman Haygood special counsel Steve Herman will give two presentations to help close out the New Orleans Bar Association (NOBA) 2025 Procrastinators’ Programssm series. This annual event offers attendees more than 56 CLE hours, including ethics and professionalism courses, over an eight-day period. Click here to view the remaining programs day by day.

On December 29, Steve will speak on “Experts: Preparation and Presentation in Light of Evolving Rules.” With revisions to Rule 702, a new rule on demonstrative aides, and a proposed Rule 707, Steve will explore why properly framing and supporting expert testimony and other technical evidence and illustrations has never been more important for summary judgment and trial purposes. Read more about the full program here.

The following day, he will reprise his presentation on “Emerging Challenges to the Profession in the Era of Political Division and AI.” Steve will speak on the increasingly politicized challenges faced by law firms, universities, bar associations, and the judiciary, providing his thoughts on how attorneys, especially those in legal aid, might responsibly use AI tools in their practices. Steve is extremely active in professional and civic organizations, including serving as chair of the American Association for Justice AI Task Force and member of the standing Louisiana State Bar Association Rules of Professional Conduct Committee, and he is often asked to speak to both regional and national groups. Most recently, Steve presented on “Illustrating Your Story: Visual Advocacy in the Digital Age” at Masters of the Courtroomsm, which was also offered as part of NOBA’s 2025 Procrastinators’ Programssm.
