Steve Herman Presents at the International Association of Privacy Professionals AI Governance Global North America 2025 Conference

On September 18, 2025, Fishman Haygood special counsel Steve Herman presented on “How Should Liability be Distributed in the AI Value Chain?” at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) AI Governance Global North America 2025 Conference in Boston, Ma. The conference brought together professionals from around the world to learn, network, and explore the challenges of AI governance, including practical applications, solutions, emerging trends, best practices, and future legislation aimed at building trustworthy AI technology. During the presentation, Steve and his fellow panelists discussed the current state of the law impacting AI liability and the roles and interdependence of actors in the value chain of AI solutions. Panelists also provided advice and guidance on how trust and accountability should be advanced in AI moving forward.
