Shelton, Darce and Swaim Named to 2026 Lawdragon 500 Global Leaders in Energy
July 1, 2026
Fishman Haygood Partners Dana Shelton, Noel Darce, and Justin Swaim have been named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Global Leaders in Energy, a guide recognizing top energy lawyers from across the country and around the world. Dana and Justin are recognized in Energy Regulation & Litigation, and Justin is also recognized in Utilities. Noel is recognized in Utility, Regulatory & Energy Law.
Now in its fifth edition, the guide was first published in 2021 as part of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Environmental & Energy Lawyers. Lawdragon selects honorees through a methodology that combines independent research, peer discussion, and its nomination platform.
Dana has handled numerous high-stakes regulatory matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Louisiana Public Service Commission, and appellate courts, and was part of the legal team that secured an electric energy cost equalization mechanism delivering more than $800 million in rate savings for Louisiana consumers.
Noel has practiced in utility, regulatory, and energy-related law for nearly four decades, advising clients on Regional Transmission Organization issues, retail regulatory matters, and FERC rulemaking.
Justin concentrates his practice on public utilities regulation, energy, and general business litigation, and has represented the Louisiana Public Service Commission in numerous FERC proceedings.
Dana, Noel, and Justin joined Fishman Haygood earlier this year, bringing with them a recognized Energy Regulation and Utilities practice that is new to the firm. Their recognition on this year’s Lawdragon 500 underscores the strength and immediate impact of that practice and reflects the kind of sophisticated, consequential work Fishman Haygood is built to handle.
