Miller, Bartlett to Present at “Masters of the Courtroom” for New Orleans Bar Association Procrastinators’ Program(sm)

On December 14, 2023, Fishman Haygood attorneys Kerry Miller and Tad Bartlett are slated to speak at “Masters of the Courtroom: Getting Back to Basics” as part of the New Orleans Bar Association’s 2023 Procrastinators’ Programssm. Attendees will learn the trial techniques of master judges, defense, and plaintiff lawyers by examining the lifecycle of a case, from jury selection through the appeals process. Miller will co-present on closing arguments, and Bartlett will round out the seminar with a presentation on winning appeals at trial. Click here to learn more about the seminar.

Miller has tried cases involving environmental contamination, products liability, breach of contract, breach of lease, redhibition, unfair trade practices, Jones Act, civil and criminal RICO and civil and criminal provisions of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and the Oil Pollution Act. He has the distinction of trying both the longest civil and criminal trials in the history of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Bartlett heads Fishman Haygood’s Appellate Group.
