Louis Fishman Selected for Induction into the 2024 Tulane Law School Hall of Fame

Fishman Haygood founding partner and counsel to the firm Louis Fishman recently was voted into the 2024 Tulane Law Hall of Fame Class. The Hall of Fame honors the law school’s most notable alumni and trailblazers whose impact on the school and the profession have elevated both the legal profession and the global stature of Tulane Law. Nominees are selected on the basis of their distinguished professional achievements and their enduring dedication to the mission and students of Tulane Law School. Read the formal announcement here.

Fishman was a founder and has served since 1988 on the planning committee of Tulane’s annual Corporate Law Institute, one of the top prestigious legal seminars on public company mergers and acquisitions. He has served as a member of the Advisory Board of Editors for the Tulane Law Review since 1991. Fishman also is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Tulane Law School, where he has taught a mini-course on corporate governance for more than three decades.

Fishman and the other members of this year’s Tulane Law Hall of Fame Class will be honored at an induction ceremony on May 8, 2024.
