John Bel Edwards to Give Keynote Address at The Murphy Institute’s “Louisiana’s Insurance Crisis: From Risk to Reform” Conference

On October 28, 2025, Fishman Haygood special counsel John Bel Edwards will serve as the keynote speaker for “Louisiana’s Insurance Crisis: From Risk to Reform,” a mini-symposium hosted by The Murphy Institute’s Center for Law and the Economy at Tulane University. Held in partnership with Tulane Law School, the half-day event brings together leading scholars, advocates, and policymakers to explore the residential insurance crisis—both in Louisiana and elsewhere—while examining a range of potential reforms.
