Herman to Lead Discussion on Ethical Rules for Using ChatGPT & AI in Legal Practice at the AAJ 2024 Winter Convention

On February 12, 2024, Fishman Haygood special counsel Steve Herman will present on “Ethical Rules for Using ChatGPT/AI in Your Practice” at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Winter Convention in Austin, Tex. The multi-day event offers accomplished trial lawyers the opportunity to discuss the latest developments in trial advocacy and other specialized topics. Herman has served on the AAJ’s Board of Governors since 2014. In 2018, he received the group’s Harry M. Philo Award, which recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the civil justice system and whose work has advanced the safety and protection of American consumers.

Herman is a frequent speaker. He most recently presented on “Legal Ethics: A Survey of Recent Developments and Decisions” for the New Orleans Bar Association. Among his many professional appointments, Herman currently serves on the standing Louisiana State Bar Association’s Rules of Professional Conduct Committee.
