Fishman Haygood Welcomes 2026 Summer Clerks

Fishman Haygood is pleased to welcome ten talented summer clerks from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and Southern University Law Center. These students will be working alongside attorneys in both litigation and transactional practice groups at the firm’s New Orleans and Baton Rouge offices throughout the summer.

Ransom Clifton is a 2L at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Louisiana Law Review, Vol. 87. He is Director of External Appellate Competitions for the LSU Board of Advocates and founding Chapter President of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy. Ransom has also served as a teaching assistant for Professor Thomas Galligan’s Constitutional Law course. He is interested in litigation.

Baylor Cobb just completed his 1L year at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he received a CALI Award in Torts. A member of the Christian Legal Society, Baylor is still exploring his interests and is eager to learn from both the firm’s litigation and transactional teams.

Jack Donovan is a 2L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he is a member of the Moot Court team and the Loyola Law Review, and an Ignatian Law Scholar. He received the Edna S. Burkhalter Award for Outstanding Oral Ability, placing second in Loyola’s Intramural Appellate Advocacy Competition. Outside of his studies, Jack serves as a Parish Council Member at St. Patrick’s Church in New Orleans and is the bandleader and head songwriter of rock and roll band Jack Sledge and the Hammers. He is interested in litigation.

Emma Durocher is a 2L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she serves as Case-Note and Comment Editor of the Loyola Law Review. She earned the highest grade in her class in Torts I, Torts II, and Energy and Environment in International Law. She is interested in litigation.

Keith Gauff is a 2L at Southern University Law Center, where he serves as 3L Class Representative to the American Bar Association and as a teaching assistant for Property and Contracts I and II. He has received CALI Awards in Property Law, Basic Civil Procedure, and Constitutional Law I. Keith holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from LSU Shreveport and is a Registered Nurse with a multistate compact license. He is interested in energy, real estate, and corporate transactions.

KG Graham is a 2L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she is an Ignatian Law Scholar and Vice President of the Federal Bar Association’s Loyola Law Chapter. She is also a member of the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law, the Black Law Students Association, and the First Generation Law Students Association. She is interested in litigation.

Anna Kate Krieger is a 2L at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she serves as Online Editor of the Louisiana Law Review, Vol. 87. Her student comment, Does Maritime for One Mean Maritime for All? The Need for Uniformity Among Maritime and Land Defendants, has been selected for publication in Vol. 87 (forthcoming 2027). She has been named a Paul M. Hebert Scholar and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Obligations, Local Government Law, and Maritime Commerce. She is interested in litigation.

Henry Pipes just completed his 1L year at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he was named a Paul M. Hebert Scholar and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Torts. Henry is using the summer to explore both litigation and transactional work and will be based primarily in the firm’s Baton Rouge office.

Jaxon Turner is a 2L at Southern University Law Center, where he serves as Senior Editor of the Southern University Law Review and previously served as 2L Class President of the Student Bar Association. He is Vice President of the Honors Board of Advocates Trial Advocacy Team and of SULC Student Ambassadors, and a member of the Counseling Humans in Life Lessons mental health organization. Jaxon is interested in litigation and hopes to become a trial attorney.

Mary Margaret Werther just completed her 1L year at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she is a Paul M. Hebert Scholar and Dean’s Scholarship recipient. She received CALI Awards in Contracts, Torts, and Legal Research and Writing I. Mary Margaret is a member of the Women’s Law Student Association, the Christian Legal Society, and the First Generation Legal Society. She is focused primarily on transactional work and will be based primarily in the firm’s Baton Rouge office.
