Fishman Haygood Welcomes 2024 Summer Clerks

Fishman Haygood is pleased to welcome six summer clerks from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. These outstanding students will work alongside business and litigation attorneys in the firm’s New Orleans office.

Each summer associate will spend about six weeks with the firm. At various points from late-June through early August, the following clerks will receive first-hand legal experience which allows them to make meaningful contributions to Fishman Haygood clients, their legal matters, and the firm:

Tyler Brewster is a J.D./D.C.L. candidate at Louisiana State University. During his time in law school, Tyler has served on the SBA Diversity and Professionalism Committee. Over the past year, he worked as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court – Middle District of Louisiana, and as a research assistant at the LSU Law Center. Tyler is part of the Public Interest Law Society and serves as the vice president of programming for OUTLaw, which aims to create a safe and comfortable environment to be openly LGBTQIA+ at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Tyler received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas State University.

Anna Gilbert studies at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. During her time in law school, Anna has served as Trial Advocacy Staff, Phi Delta Phi Magister, and is a Loyola Law Review Candidate. Before her legal studies, she worked in data analytics, leading teams to support New York City’s pandemic response, and founded a consulting firm in Washington, D.C. Anna has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grinnell College and received her MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Dillon Knight studies at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. He is on the Willem V. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team. Dillon is also a student member of the St. Thomas More Catholic Lawyer’s Association and the Federal Bar Association’s New Orleans Chapter. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Louisiana State University.

Robert Sanders studies at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. He is a staff member of and oralist/brief writer for the Moot Court First Amendment Team. He earned top marks in Lawyering I (legal research and writing), and then worked as the teaching assistant for the class in the fall of 2023. Over the past year, Robert was a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court – Eastern District of Louisiana. Robert received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Louisiana State University and received a Master of Science in biology from Mississippi College.

Olivia Taylor studies at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She is a member of the Moot Court’s “PACE” Environmental Law Team, and—like Robert—was a teaching assistant for the Lawyering I class in the fall of 2023. Last year, she worked as a legal intern at both the New Orleans City Attorney’s Office and the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office. She is an Ignatian Scholar and a member of the Loyola Catholic Law Students Association. Olivia received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Louisiana State University.

Susannah Theus studies at Louisiana State University where she is a Junior Associate for the Louisiana Law Review. She is a recipient of the Dean’s Scholar Award and the Paul M. Hebert Scholar Award. Susannah is also a member of the Women Law Student Association and the Public Interest Law Society. She is actively involved in the community, serving organizations like The Philanthropy Lab, English as Second Language, and ACEing Autism. Susannah received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Tulane University.
