Hosted by Friends of Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB), the annual event honors outstanding Louisiana natives who have distinguished themselves in various fields, bringing honor to the state. The Edwardses will join an esteemed list of 161 past Louisiana Legends that includes Grammy Award winners, world-renowned chefs, a Nobel Prize winner, and distinguished dignitaries. The event will be held Thursday, April 25, at Louisiana’s Old State Capital in Baton Rouge. The evening features a dinner, honoree-donated items for auction, music, and an awards ceremony. Watch the awards ceremony live at 8:30 p.m. (CT) on LPB.
