Fishman Haygood continues its efforts to recover for student loan borrowers

Fishman Haygood partner Jason Burge and associate Kaki Johnson are leading a team that seeks relief for a nationwide class of private student loan borrowers who discharged their debts via bankruptcy, yet were hounded by debt collectors.  The lawsuit alleges that Navient was aware that certain non-qualified education loans were dischargeable in bankruptcy, yet Navient continued to collect these loans after borrowers obtained bankruptcy discharges.
