Firm Client CKX Lands Completes Cash Sale of Approximately 7,000 Acres to SPP Land

On November 18, 2025, CKX Lands, Inc. (NYSE American: CKX), a Lake Charles, La.-based publicly-held land management company, finalized the sale of approximately 7,000 acres of land to Southern Pine Plantations (SPP Land). CKX’s Agreement of Purchase and Sale, effective on August 14, 2025, and later amended, was for the sale of land wholly-owned by the company in several parishes throughout Louisiana. The transaction’s final cash purchase price amounted to more than $8.6 million.
