Benjamin Reichard Selected for ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for North America

Fishman Haygood Partner Benjamin Reichard has been selected for the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Advanced Arbitration Academy for North America. The year-long program, which begins in September 2026, brings together approximately 40 senior and upper mid-level practitioners for intensive training under the guidance of some of the most respected names in international arbitration.

The Academy’s multi-workshop agenda offers a deep dive into every stage of the arbitration process through the lens of an arbitrator, covering topics like jurisdictional challenges, case management, award drafting, and more. Each workshop also features prominent guest speakers who bring fresh perspectives and first-hand experience to the curriculum. This edition of the Academy will be the first to integrate the 2026 ICC Arbitration Rules, which entered into force on June 1.

Ben’s international arbitration practice focuses on investor-state disputes. He serves as lead counsel for contractors, developers, financial consortiums, and individual investors in confidential arbitrations against sovereign nations arising from large-scale construction, infrastructure, and industrial development projects valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars, as well as disputes involving government misconduct and failures to protect investor interests.

Ben’s selection to the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy reflects both his standing within the international arbitration community and Fishman Haygood’s ongoing commitment to excellence in dispute resolution.
