Practice Focus
About
Bobby Sanders works on a wide range of litigation matters. Prior to joining Fishman Haygood, Bobby clerked for the Honorable Greg G. Guidry of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He draws on his background in biology to bring a scientific perspective and detail-oriented approach to his practice.
A New Orleans native, Bobby received his law degree, cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he was the Managing Substance and Citation Editor of the Loyola Law Review. In law school, Bobby sharpened his advocacy skills by competing as an oralist and brief writer in the 2023 Burton D. Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Competition and later coaching Loyola’s team for the 2024-2025 National Moot Court Competition. Bobby also was one of twelve graduates in his class inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national honor society recognizing graduating students for effective oral advocacy and brief writing. He served as a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Program during his 2L year, and a research assistant to Professor Monica Hof Wallace during his 3L year.
Outside the office, Bobby is a certified divemaster with over 500 logged scuba dives, and he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his black lab, Zeus.
