Energy Regulation and UtilitiesMadeline Flores is special counsel in our Litigation Section. Her practice focuses on public utilities regulation, energy, and general business litigation.
Madeline received her law degree, magna cum laude, and Civil Law Certificate from Tulane University Law School, where she graduated Order of the Coif. Among her many honors, Madeline was a Junior Member of Louisiana State Law Institute and recipient of the A. N. Yiannopoulos Scholarship. She also served as both the Notes and Comments Editor and Disciplinary Chairperson for Tulane Law Review. During law school, Madeline served as a judicial extern to the late Honorable Martin L.C. Feldman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She also interned at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law, focusing on cultural property.
After law school, Madeline clerked for the Honorable Barry W. Ashe of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
