Practice Focus
Litigation Practice, Construction, EnvironmentalBrennan O’Keefe is an attorney in our firm’s Litigation Section and works on matters in both state and federal court. His practice focuses on complex construction and environmental litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Brennan’s construction practice includes representation of developers in construction disputes concerning multi-family commercial and hotel projects. Brennan is also part of the Fishman Haygood team working on the Hard Rock Hotel collapse litigation.
Brennan’s environmental practice includes representation of a class of neighboring property owners against Marathon Oil Co. regarding the forced evacuation of their properties and other damages associated with an uncontrolled fire and related emissions at Marathon’s Garyville, La., refinery. Additionally, Brennan regularly represents landowners throughout Louisiana regarding environmental contamination and remediation.
Brennan is licensed to practice law in both Louisiana and Mississippi. He is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association.
Brennan received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University (LSU). He was a Member of the Louisiana Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, Brennan received a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from LSU.
