Miller Interviewed on Fox News, Speaks on Legacy of LSU Student Madi Brooks

On Jan. 31, 2023, partner Kerry Miller was interviewed on The Story with Martha MacCallum. Miller represents Ashley Baustert, the mother of LSU student Madison “Madi” Brooks. Brooks was killed after being struck by a car in the early morning of Jan. 15, 2023. The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested four suspects on third-degree rape charges after an investigation into the circumstances preceding her death.

Brooks, an organ donor, gave her heart and kidneys to recipients in need at the time of her passing. In her memory, the Madison Brooks Foundation was formed to “provide financial help to those in need, to advocate for the safety of young adults, and to spread awareness for the gift of organ donation.”
