Dodson to Moderate Panel at American Bar Association’s RPTE National CLE Conference

Mike Dodson, a partner in Fishman Haygood’s Litigation Section, will present at the 35th Annual Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law (RPTE) National CLE Conference on May 12, 2023. Hosted by the American Bar Association (ABA) in Washington, D.C., the multi-day event presents the latest developments in real estate and trust and estate law. Dodson will moderate the “Arbitration: A True Alternative for Dispute Resolution? Practical Guidance for Real Estate Practitioners” program. Speakers will discuss defenses to arbitration provisions, pitfalls in arbitration proceedings that provide key context for clients, and drafting tips for ensuring an arbitration provision is clear as to scope. The program also will provide insight into considerations that might be important for arbitration provisions in both commercial and residential leases, broker contracts, and construction contracts.
