Fishman Haygood attorney Sharonda Williams joins Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities Board of Directors

Sharonda Williams has joined the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities.  The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing all Louisianans access to and an appreciation of Louisiana’s rich historical, literary, and cultural heritage.

Williams joined Fishman Haygood as Special Counsel in January 2016 after serving two years as New Orleans City Attorney.  She is active in both legal and community organizations.  She has served as President of the Board for Bridge House and the Loyola Law School Alumni Association, and she currently is a Vice President of the New Orleans Bar Association.  She also recently joined the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center.

Williams was named a “40 under 40” honoree by Gambit Weekly in 2010 and a “Women of the Year” honoree by City Business in 2011.
