Fishman Haygood Named One of New Orleans' Top Ten Places to Work

Our firm was named one of the top ten places to work by the New Orleans CityBusiness newspaper.

We were ranked number ten out of 37 local and regional companies on the newspaper’s list and were the only law firm to be included in the top ten. The newspaper based its rankings on interviews with over 700 employees of the 37 companies on its list, and on information about salary and benefits provided by each company.

Firm partner Louis Y. Fishman was quoted by the newspaper as saying, "We respect everyone who works here and recognize the contribution of everybody from our most senior attorney to our most junior staff person. And that’s the key. . . .We just created an atmosphere we felt most conducive to people being happy and fulfilled in the practice of law."

Associate Joe Peiffer commented on his experience as a young lawyer at the firm. "I got a lot of real world experience fairly quickly but the older attorneys acted as a sort of safety net." And administrative assistant Lisa Hebert noted, "A job well done is appreciated and praised. Although we work hard, there is a family atmosphere."
